Oh My Goth: Jokes for When You Feel Dead Inside compiled by Andrew Shaffer

I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. This is a fun, entertaining joke book. It’s a very short, quick read at 96 pages. There are regular jokes and one liner jokes with illustrations mixed in.

I would recommend it to people with a dark sense of humor, goths and people who like a quick, fun read. I gave it 3/5 stars.

The Secret Summer Promise by Keah Brown

This is about a girl named Andrea and her list for the best summer ever. She was recovering from surgery for her cerebral palsy last summer so she wants to make the most of this one and she wants to get over her crush on her best friend, Hailee.

I love how supportive her family and friends are. The romance part of the story is cute. It feels like a few characters are just randomly thrown in but, other than that, the cast of characters is pretty good.
