Whispers and Screams: 13 Chilling Stories That Will Haunt Your Dreams by Kerri Lapierre and Nadia Teoli

This book is a collection of spooky stories, but they’re not really scary. I think the authors should’ve put the story’s name before each one but, other than that, the format was fine. There’s a picture before each story and each one is 6 to 8 pages long. I think it would be good for kids who are in middle school or maybe even elementary school kids who read well. The language isn’t hard to read.

It was a quick read and I liked the first story, “Midnight Music.”
